I can relate to this! I applied to an Army Sixth Form college! A very good college with leads into the army! I had to declare on my medicals about my self harm because it was on my medical record! Because of this they wouldn't accept me because they were very narrow minded and deemed me mentally unstable! I was devastated as I had set my heart on this career! I think it's horrible to be discriminated against because of your mental state! I would've been in a different state of mind I feel if I were to be accepted! I was devastated! I truely feel your pain of discrimination! Some people may think the army had reasoning to reject me, which maybe they did? But they crushed a 16yr olds dream! And nobody should have the right to do that! But stay strong and so glad you got to study your degree!
