Well, if youre unsure, i would say first go buy a reputable brand test, just for your own peace of mind, and then you will have more um.. evidence to go on. it doesnt seem entirely fair to drop someone with a bombshell and then possibly have to retract it.
Although, i did with my first one and still bought a second and third one when the first said i was pregnant :P
I think when its not expected, theres no proper way of telling the other half. Just try and chose a time when hes not stressed or hasnt had a terrible day or you havent just been reminded that money is tight and stuff.
I told my other half when we were making dinner. Which in hindsight could have back fired massively cos a pan full of spag bol over the head would have hurt!
