i'm sure thatshe did not mean anything bad by it. if i were you i would take a minute and talk to her. i'd say something like, "i know that we don't know each other very well, and i know that you meant no offense when you made the date rape comment last night, but i just wanted to ask you to not make comments like that around me. i don't want to talk about why, i am just asking you not to." and leave it at that. you do not have to talk about it with her if you do not want to. there are subjects that i do not allow people around me make jokes about and that is generally how i tell them. very matter of fact. i'm sure if she knows that you are offended by comments like that then should not say anything like again.
