I love it too. I used to love wandering around our uni campus at about 5-6am when it was really quiet, because all the rabbits were out and they were so used to the uni students that they didn't run away for ages. I used to go and wander around town too, take a camera and just wander by the river. I came across two ducks asleep in the middle of a pavement one time.
And the snow, it's so peaceful walking out in the snow when it's quiet and untouched, especially if it's still snowing and you can just watch it falling.
And I love in summer in the early morning or early evening being in the woods. Our local hospice has really nice woods and there's a nature forest round here and it's so relaxing when it's quiet. :)
