Can't say I morally agree with the idea of blanket banning, or stopping everyone using something when a few people misuse it.
It's just something I can't agree with, although it doesn't affect me at all as I don't use tumblr or view other peoples.
Reminds me of an old chat mod who dictated that you wern't allowed to link ANYTHING in chat, because she couldnt be bothered to check every link to see if it was triggering or against the rules or something.
Similarly to someone banning youtube because there are videos of cuts on.
I'd much rather see harsher punishments to people who do link to triggering content, rather than a blanket ban. but eh. Not my choice.
I can also imagine this being harder to inforce, because the probability that someone who'll link to their tumblr with triggering aspects is that they won't have bothered to read the rules at all, so will post it anyway. Which means it's really just limiting the people who already know the rules from linking to their non triggering pages.
