New psychiatrist

I'm seeing my new psychiatrist on tuesday. Apparently she is "lovely" and "very thorough" but I'm nervous. I've not properly seen a psychiatrist in about three years (barring the emergency appointment I had at christmas).

I want to talk about my diagnosis, because I'm being treated for Recurrent Depression currently but I don't agree with it. I've written down all of my symptoms and I want to ask her about them but some psychiatrists get funny when you say you don't agree with your current treatment. I've been on the same meds for three years too with no review.

How do I go about this in a way that means she'll help me and listen to me? My major fear is of being dismissed and not being listened to.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.
