If you can, try to find a therapist who can do DBT with you (dialectical behavioral therapy). It's the best for bpd (and for depression and anxiety too)! Some treatment programs have DBT programs too. Going inpatient was a huge huge help for my depression/anxiety, and I think it's good for bpd too--it gives you the chance to tackle your stuff without outside distractions. If you get the opportunity to go to a good inpatient program, I would definitely recommend it. It was a lifesaver for me. You just have to be ready to do some hard work--if you're not at the point where you're willing to really dive in, then you won't benefit much.
