Basically no. I believe people are too unpredictable and changeable to 'complete each other'- what may be what they require in one moment may be wholly and completely different and at the opposite end of the scale from what they require in the next moment.
And what Jodie said, the science behind it leaves no real room for God or the fluffy idea of soul mates in my head. That being said, Im an utterly confused person in that I would quite like to meet someone like that even though I do not believe they exist.
