If when you take it, you feel extremely sedated and sleep LOTS- don't worry, it wears off.

Make sure you take it before bed for this reason though. When I first started it, ten minutes after taking it I would feel like a massive wall of tiredness hit me and I would go to bed and sleep 13 hours. I'd wake up for a couple of hours, eat, then go back to bed.

After two weeks the heavy sedating effect reduced until I could function during the day, and I didnt get the strong wave of sleep hit me at night, though the sleep at night remained around 11 hours.

Mirtazapine helped massively with my mood, but as others have mentioned, increased my appetite.



Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…
