Hey, just found this thread!
I've started watching several anime/reading several manga, but due to time constraints and eventually dwindling interest, didn't get very far (Bleach, Naruto).
Although I haven't watched anime in forever, some of my all-time favorites from my childhood are Pokemon and Digimon!
And yes, I liked them
both instead of adoring one and hating the other, haha. I followed Digimon from seasons 1-4 (although I missed a lot of the season 4 episodes due to screwy programming) and followed Pokemon up through the Advanced episodes after which they changed the voices and pretty much killed it. The games are still awesome though.
Also watched pretty much the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! series before GX. Doing a
Yu-G-Oh! cosplay at an anime convention next year!
