^I agree. Though this thread kind of got a bit serious and heated, I'd say on reflection GC is still the best place for it.
I do want to say something on the drama llamaz point:
I'm kind of sad that people don't think it's possible to have a sensible conversation around here anymore? I really like the range of stuff on GC at the moment; currently some of the top threads are pure randomness, some are funny story sharing (e.g. Em's adult one) some are for serious-ish discussions (e.g. this, the x factor thread, forever alone thread, the appreciation thread for a well-loved member) and some are for advice (e.g. fancy dress, xmas present) etc. I have found GC a great way to meet people, have fun and talk about stuff. If there's a thread that I find silly or that I can't relate to, I just ignore it, and find that there's plenty of things that interest me to keep me going. I'm genuinely sad that other people don't feel that way.
