After two months everthing will still be healing. There will be scar tissue and how bad is depends on how deep it goes and whether it goes through tissues such as muscles/ tendons. If it does then these do take a long time to heal. Otherwise, also, scar tissue does take a long time to heal fully (you could argue it never does to some degree) and if it is in or arround tendons/ muscles it can effectively shorten the muscle or put pressure on the surrounding areas and therefore make it harder and more painful for them to happen. As well as that there is also the fact that there is some nerve damage, as said above, or that it is as simple as it is taking your body some time to heal and over time, especially given rest, the area should improve.

What does the pain feel like when you get it? Do you have any loss of sensation in or around that area? Any pins and needles around there? Also, can you move your wrist fully and if not is this because of pain/ it feels like it won't move any further or a bit of both (/or you're unsure)?
