New therapist
Hi everyone, i haven't posted in a really long time, but i was wondering if anyone would give me some advice.
I just started with a new therapist last week. This week's session was not great, i didn't know how to talk to her. It's like that "Cat's got your tongue" thing whenever i see her. I always get nervous, but i wasn't sure how to talk to her today and i had alot on my mind, so instead of opening up another "Pandora's Box," i kept it very short and simple.
I guess that it's because I'm afraid to let her in. I just finished with my other therapist after having her for 4 years. She was absolutely amazing, and i don't know how i'll make this new therapy relationship work. I already feel defeated and like crap.
Any related stories that are positive, positive feedback, etc would be of MUCH appreciation
Thank-you,
