I think the mods do a fantastic, fantastic job (especially considering the lack of admin powers they have in some respects). I certainly think they are on frequently enough, too.
How about, instead of mods needing to be contacted 24/7 to stop drama escalating.. people just... grow... up? Ignore the people causing drama? Leave if it is upsetting? Crazy stuff!
