You shouldn't have to suffer in silence because your afraid of your brother telling people. If you feel that you can be open with your mum about how your feeling and your worries, then you should grab that opportunity and talk to her. It's hard opening up, but in the end its going to make you feel better shifting some of that weight of your shoulders. If you feel like its too all too much then speak to someone impartial. It's better to talk about how your feeling, what's bothering you, and the things you want to change/stop/get better to a doctor/guidance councillor rather then listing symptoms. I found it impossible to talk to people about the things that were hurting when I was your age and I let it build up for years. If I had reached out for help back then, I wouldn't be in the mess I'm in now. I have bipolar, and wasnt diagnosed till last year. It really helps to talk.
