Hey, I've been on Citalopram over a year and a half, with a month exchange onto Mirtazapine which was baaad... so back on the citalopram.
It was alright in the short term, but now it's not really doing much other than being in my body..
I haven't experienced increase bleeding either, but you can always ask your doctor. Maybe tell your teachers that you have started this new medication. If it makes you nauseas and tired like it did me, it may affect your exams, and your teachers may be able to apply for some extra time or something to help you out!
