It's not one picture that's the problem. It's the type of kissing going on as well as the amount of pictures. You do not need more than a couple to show how in love you are really. You certainly do not need ten or more of something that would not be socially acceptable for you to do on say... a bus. Or on a park bench. Love is good, love is great, yay love. But there are socially acceptable bounds.
It's just 'where are those bounds'? How much is socially acceptable on this website? Are there things you can do to mitigate going over those lines?
Threads for couples can be lovely things. For instance, a couple going to a park and running around doing all sorts of things (kissing and otherwise) - that's awesome! You can have different scenery, you can use the pictures to show a story, a wide variety of different positions, the activity (are you having a picnic? climbing trees? feeding the ducks?)
A couple sitting around in one room taking pictures of themselves licking each other and all, not so much. The scenery stays the same. There is no story. The pictures are just variations of each other. Same action, slightly different angles. Face it, how many different angles can you get of yourself totally kissing and going at it with a partner? Plus, when you're taking pictures of yourself doing that with your partner, kissing is no longer a private moment to express how you feel. It's not just you and your partner kissing. It's you, your partner, the camera, and the audience all kissing together. Just as there are different levels of intimacy with kissing, there are also limits on who exactly I want being involved when I am kissing someone!
I am all for couples kissing each other. I am all for private, intimate moments. I just don't want to be handed an invitation to yours. If you want to take pictures of yourself and your partner like that, take them. Just think very carefully about sharing them.
Also, why would you want to share those moments with the world? Just because it's on the internet doesn't make it okay.
