I think one of my biggest irks is that what's happening at the moment is discouraging anybody from contributing to the site. There used to be really excited and enthusiastic CT and V3 creation teams, and based on what I've seen recently on the CT, it seems as though people have just lost interest. It's sad that there's so much creative potential and so many people willing and wanting to do good things for the site, and to see their keenness thwarted. Basically, what Chels has already said.
i criticise RYL as much as anyone if not more on occasions. However that is my worst nightmare it not being here. That would effect my support network, my life, the friendships i may have dramatically.
With all due respect, this concerns me. It's repeatedly said that RYL isn't and shouldn't be used as a replacement for real-life help, and it concerns me that people are that dependent on this site - personally, I think I view that as being just as maladaptive as something like SI. There's definitely room for online interaction as part of a healthy lifestyle, but it slightly concerns me that there's
that much reliance on this site [I'm very aware that this is coming across as not quite how I intended it, and I'm also very aware that this may sound as though I'm targeting you specifically - please don't think I am. It's something I've seen in other posts as well, it's jut that what you wrote sort-of summarised it for me].
