I once spent an entire evening with two friends coming up with different derivations of bongle - bongelated, bonglatory, bongeloid.
Strangerous came from a student, I had to tell him that it wasn't a real word, but it should be!
Somewhen, I only ever hear when I go back home. Even in other parts of England people don't seem to use it.
