I was on citalopram and found it did nothing for me. I don't have ED behaviours so can't comment on that but I found it didn't worsen my SH or suicidal feelings. But it didn't help them either.

I take lamotrigine now and have found it evens out my moods pretty well (I have borderline personality disorder) I've found it doesn't worsen my SH or suicidal feelings.

But that's my personal experience and every one is different, responds differently, finds different medications to be effective etc etc.

I hope you can find something that works for you.
