For as long as I remembered, I wanted to be a vet. I applied twice and got rejected both times cos I only got AABC in my A-levels. I've done over 70 weeks of work experience in surgeries, on farms, in kennels etc. (I took a gap year between rejections). So now I'm studying English Language and Linguistics at university (in my second year) aiming to teach English to speakers of other languages. And I work on a farm in the holidays with sheep and cattle. Yeah, English is a bit different, but if I did anything science-y it would remind me every day that I didn't get in to vet medicine and I'd probably be even more depressed :(
Apparently, before I wanted to be a vet I wanted to be a professional trombone player. I don't remember this though. And I never ended up playing trombone :P
