Hi Kirsty, I'm really sorry you are struggling so much. I cannot even imagine how much pain and stress you are feeling at the moment. It is so difficult having so much pain but having to continue onwards with work and looking after your children...that sounds so tough! I understand why you want to move forward quickly. But I think your psyc is right, sometimes real healing takes time and it can feel as though you are going backwards when you start feeling the intensity of the pain, but it is the only way through I think. The main thing I could suggest is to keep talking to your psych about all these feelings and confusion you are going through, let her share your pain. Also take care of yourself as much as you can. I am sure this is hard enough when you work full time with 2 young kids but it is really important you try and take some time to heal yourself, even if it is only an 15minutes in the morning or evening.
