i thought it would be a good idea to post a thread so people can share their experiences of 9/11 and share their feelings / thoughts.
you can leave tributes to the thousands of people who died that day.....leave messages of courage.
tributes to the firefighters/ police departments and rescue workers.

share what you was doing at the time you found out about the attacks and you feelings at what you was seeing....

just thought i would share when i went to ground zero in 2005.....we had to pass there to get to battery park to get the ferry to the statue of liberty.....i will never forget the emotions i had. just stood there and remembering 9/11. i felt overwhelmed at the feelings i had...i cried and held my then gf as she cried too.
we prayed for those who lost their lives and for all the survivors and all the fire fighters and police officers who lost their lives that day. we even spoke to soem people working at ground zero and you could still see the emotion in their eyes of that day and they were saddened but also proud to be working at the site......they were proud of being american. i am still in contact with some of them after exchanging emails. and i am planning on flying out there next year to meet up with them again on the 7th anniversary of 9/11.

i will be posting pics on here soon of the memorial garden dedicated to the 9/11 victims.
