It's a big culture shock changing from CAMHS to adult services I know. But once you adjust to the new service's way of thinking, and they adjust to you, and you get to know each other, then things might get easier. Sometimes we feel very negative towards people because they make us aware of things about ourselves that we are trying to hide from ourselves. Other times it's because they remind us of people/times in the past. Sometimes they remind us of ourselves.

Of course, sometimes they're just useless for us, and we should trust our instinct. Tricky to decipher which one it is!

You're always entitled to request a change of care co-ordinator. Whether or not they have to grant it, I'm unsure.

Do you know what it is you dislike about them so much?

Edit: Just read your R/V. She doesn't sound very nice.
