I thought watching Jason self harm would trigger me, but it didn't.
I don't know why really, but in my opinion it just didn't really show the emotions that you (well I, at least) have when you (or maybe just me) engage self harm.
I do think that the actress (don't know her name) is one of the best in Hollyoaks though. It's a really hard storyline to act and I think she does it really well.
