I have been IP over xmas a couple of times I think. I remember both wards made it a fun time - well as fun as it can be, but still. They made an effort. Try and join in on any activities that are going on that you can, but also try make sure the day is relaxing. :)

I understand how you will really miss it though (if you don't get leave). *hugs*
