Once you have decided that you need to look at why you are self-harming then put in more positive coping mechanisms, without these it just won't work. Also put together a list of things you can do when your struggling to deal with the urges such as ringing someone, writing in a journal, going for a walk etc. You can do this, don't give up because you deserve a life free from this.
