I've felt this too and the one therapy that really helped me was Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. It helped me to identify my thoughts and feelings about a situation and to see whether my thinking was realistic or distorted and to challenge it if it was and to get things more into perspecitve.
I also try to talk to someone who won't judge and give an impartial view if there is a particularly difficult situation. Ususally, I find that my reaction was normal and understandable.
