I am currently:

Hey, I'm glad you were able to write here and reach out for some help here. I think you mean asthma, too. I know how difficult it is to live with (I have ashma too although not severe), but even though it's difficult, I think it would help you to find some activities to occupy you in the evening to keep your mind busy. Maybe during the day when your mood is somewhat higher, you could make a list of things you enjoy. There are plenty of lists in the internet of distractions, but maybe there are some things that you particularly enjoy that you can still do with asthma. Play with playdough, draw, write, call a friend, or plan to spend evenings with family or friends so that you're not alone during times you know will be difficult for you.
I know that what you can do on physical activity is limited by your asthma, but if there is some physical activity that you can do, it would help with your self esteem and also give you something to do. I don't know where you live, but could you perhaps see a doctor to get some tips for activities you could still do?

One thing is sure-
we have to do something.
We have to do the best
we know at the moment.
If it doesn't turn out right,
we can modify it as we go along.
