Recent events:
The friend has paid $80 and has asked how much more she owed with encouraging signs that she intends to pay - stating that until she pays me back she has little funds at her disposal.
I can take her to small claims but was concerned that this would end the friendship - this friend went running to a lawyer the second that her marriage looked like it would be over even though a divorce is impossible for 12 months after the separation.
