My licence is for renewal after 3 years and as luck would have it I had a psychotic relapse just as the papers were in the process of being forwarded to my consultant
I could really do with my licence as I would be lost without it. If I do lose my licence again for the second time I fully intend to apply for a free bus pass.
In answer the the question above the DVLA won't know unless you a) Volunteer the information or b) the doctor thinks you would be a danger and informs them off his own back.
