Or pick ones that have lots of photos that might help you understand more about the project without having to trawl through all the details?
Trouble with trying to pick at random is even after I narrowed it all down to the projects i'd like to do there are over 10 pages of charities, with 25 entries on each page. And they're in alphabetical order, so if I only chose from page 1 I'd only have Brazil and Bolivia to choose from. No choice of China, or Mongolia, or Vietnam.
And there are no pictures. it's just blocks of text. I have to read through them all but I just can't manage it. I just tried and I couldn't get though entry one.
It's just so dumb. I want to do this, but I can't even bring myself to make a decision on where to go and what to do.
How do you choose? How do you pick between teaching English in Brazil and digging a well in Ghana? Or taking part in a archaeological dig in Mongolia? or tagging sea turtles in Australia?
I've not even applied until I've chosen one. And even then I'd have no grantee of getting an interview, then I'd have to impress at the interview to be 1 of 16.
How would I even impress at the interview, I can't even get past this simple first step.
It's too much. it's just too much. I'm just totally overwhelmed.
