I've never been abused. I've a had a few bad things happen to me, but they were a result of me being suicidal, and when I first started feeling this way my life was freaking near perfect.
This is something I've always struggled with too. It's not an equation. You can't look at the events in someone's lives and put them into some formula that can predict how happy they are.
Just because you're life doesn't look as bad, like I say, on paper, doesn't meant that your pain isn't real, or that you don't deserve support and help. You deserve your own sympathy too. You are really hurting, and that is real, even if it is harder to find the cause.
