Hi,

Sounds like you have had some really terrible experiences with the NHS. You are entitled to this help; keep at it.

I am a student nurse, so I am kinda working with the NHS at the moment. And I have seen so many people waiting for appointments for ridiculous amounts of time and being spoken down to by the doctors. The only thing I can say is, complain. Let their managers know about it, it will show them where they are going wrong and will maybe help?

Also, about the medical student being there. You are totally within your rights to ask them to leave. Patients have asked me to leave or not to be present during some procedures (however I make it a point to ask them or the family if necessary if its okay I observe/assist).
