Can family section you if your over 18?
I was just wondering if family or friends have you sectioned against your will when your over 18?
Ive been sectioned 4 times and I recently discharged myself but since gettting home I'm slowly going down hill again, especially with my ED. My mum and dad are seperated and both of them say that if I dont improve I WILL be going back in but surely they cant make me if I really don't want to?
I'm not suicidal but I keep dissasotiating for hours on end, not talking for up to 6 hours at a time, other times I'm screaming and shouting at my boyfriend for no reason, basically losing all control, making myself sick numberous times a day, that sorta thing.
Basically I was moved to the ED ward after 6 weeks in an acute ward as my BMI is getting lower and physically my health is deteriorting too but they had me bed bound and on constant observation, where I wasnt even aloud to cross my legs or use my phone after meal times, silly wee things like that, that pissed me right off...
Now my family are threating that they will put me back in even if I dont want to but surely they can't if I'm over 18!!?
