Sectioning is where you are forced to go to hospital.
Voluntarily going is called being voluntarily admitted.

It's very brave of you to consider doing this.
Could you go to your local hospital & tell the on call psychiatrist/psychologist about this, they could perhaps arrange this to happen?
Or, if you already see a MH professional, ask to make an emergency appointment with them & tell them about this, I'm sure they could arrange it too.
