Angelic Monster..pls dont take this wrong, I know you meant well...but ctc'ing the prosecution about it will actually make things worse, I believe. They will then know how you feel about this and may use that to 'rattle' you.
I dont want to worry you more ann..but it needs to be considered.
After all, their job is to 'win' and they will likely do whatever they can.
