I have some mild reading issues. What helps me follow the text [particularly longer passages like yours. don't feel bad, i find that annoying
] is highlighting it with the curser
Basically click and drag the mouce along.
What it also does is turns the background of the highlighted text blue, and the text white. Or white and the text blue if it's a light text color.
It helps with odd colors too, as it's black/white color [erm, i suppose blue and white] rather than shades
