But that would be a long way from home, I've fallen in love with Warwick University now aswell, if anyone goes there? Or Coventry??

Well Warwick and Coventry are barely comparable! Warwick is a campus uni, so it's quite self-contained and perhaps could seem isolated. Though obviously it's rated far, far higher in league tables, and has far more prestige.
Unless you're doing Car Design or something, Coventry isn't considered to be a high-flying uni, but I'm sure it's fine if you're looking to do a vocational sort of course anyway. Warwick obviously do the more traditional academic subjects.
Coventry's based in the city centre of (surprise) Coventry! Which isn't exactly the most stunning of places. Though to be fair most was rebuilt in the 60s which wasn't a good decade for architecture. Warwick's campus is nice, and it's surrounded by a lot of nice towns, Leamington and Kenilworth etc. You could probably complete a degree at Warwick without having to venture into Coventry at all if you so desired.
As to the original post, I'll also be applying this autumn for 2008. Will be applying for Music, probably to Durham, Manchester, Nottingham, Royal Holloway and Leeds.
