Unfortunately treatments in hospitals don't make much sense. perhaps you or someone close to her could talk to the doctors about your concerns? Why did she come off the medication if it was helping her not hear voices? They also may not know that she bought pills when she went on leave, so it is important to make sure they know. That might make them watch her more.
