I am currently:

I think about suicide alot despite my mood being ok at the moment. I have told crisis teams, professionals of such thoughts in the past and not been taken in to hospital, I find that being able to talk about it with someone helps instead of it festering away inside me and me becoming more and more obsessive. I have had plans in the past, told my team and not been admitted.

I did however end up in hospital (voluntarily but prob wouldn't have been if I resisted) at the end of last year as my behaviour and thoughts had changed to it being constant and me trying various methods/attempts of suicide.

I suppose I have waffled there but just letting you know that admitting such feelings are not an automatic need for hospital, it will be assessed by the professionals and the more they know about your thoughts, ideas, etc, the more able they are to help you and recognise when you need any further help to stay safe, be it hospital or other ways.
