To elaborate, I think it is the responsibility of a man to be the rock in a family/relationship. Emotional fortitude/stability are qualities the shine favorably on a man. I figure this is meaning breaking down in public or in the presence of another person that you're crying in front of. I myself am guilty of such a thing, but I do not think it is right nor did is shine favorably on me.
For a man to cry in private is his own business, We all mourn, but it is a man's place to be strong when no one else is in my opinion.
