Yeah, it's not a rush to get it checked so if I were you I'd just mention it next time you see your doctor if you see them relatively often, otherwise you could book an appointment and mention it to them.
What I would also suggest is that when you next get your eyes checked just mention it to the optician and see what (s)he says about it too.
