Flightless Bird said it perfectly. It seems that you probably do it out of impulse........I don't think you would be doing it deliberately. That's why I suggested therapy. If you can see a psychologist/counsellor and work on changing your thinking, you will eventually be able to stop doing it. Please forgive me if I'm wrong here.
