Sparky!

Obviously, everyone's experiences will be different, and I'd say that if it's something you want to try then go for it. Any side effects probably won't last long, and if it doesn't work for you then you come off it, you try something else if that's what you decide. You're seeing a therapist, and you're not jumping at this as some kind of miracle cure, which is good! So if you decide to try it I really do hope it helps you.

I've just been taken off it, I was only taking it for 5-6 weeks but it was pretty bad. I wasn't doing well before, but I when I started taking it, things got so much worse, I was making plans to kill myself, and then when the dose was put up, I started self-harming again after almost 2 years and ended up being sectioned. I very much doubt that it was a coincidence. BUT that is just me. I know quite a few people who've taken it and swear by it. I wouldn't worry too much about what might go wrong, but yeah, make sure you have strategies in place to deal with suicidal thoughts etc.

Good luck, I hope it works out well whatever you decide. xx
