I also get big mood swings, most of the time I can function pretty well (especially at work where being slightly detached is a good thing) but half an hour later I can be feeling incredibly destructive. You're not alone...
I'm not sure that I have any answers for myself, let alone anyone else! Keeping busy, of course... But also, after years of 'just surviving' I've decided to try and 'get better', so I want to encourage you in that as well. It's early days for me (a couple of weeks).
