Sorry, but I have to pick up on this point.
Okay, facts are fine, but when it's something as important as this, it's not fine when it's an opinion.
I have read through several posts on RYL at the moment, and I understand that people are going to have their own opinions, but people often read through posts and will take the text as gospel.
There are youngsters on here that will read through posts and make choices and decisions based upon what other people think. There are people with Eating Disorders on here and that kind of comment is unhelpful. SOME meds you gain weight on, some have NO effect on your weight at all. I am currently on Citalopram, I have been on it for 2 and a half years and I am still underweight, and yes, I do suffer from Anorexia. However, one of the reasons I was scared of going onto it is due to the weight increase that COULD potentially happen. It didn't. There are a hec of a lot of meds out there that have no affect on a persons weight at all, and I think to say what you did is just pain wrong when it is completely false.
Sometimes people will be put onto meds for others reasons and they will, in a round about way, save their life. To use such a sweeping statement that encompasses so many different drugs isn't fair.
I shall also be making a post in Forum and Community to bring up the question of peoples' writing. This will not just be about you, so please do not think it is an attack on you. It will be a general topic that will involve many.
