I feel like this too, sometimes. Scars fade, but never completely. I don't remember the last time I wore a skirt without thick tights. However, what is done is done, and those scars will fade in time and you'll find people don't notice them as much. Maybe it will help you to find a different way to express how you feel without using your skin as a canvas?
