Ibuprofen, though it's not it's main useage, can reduce temperatures though not to the extent of paracetamol but it is one of the main uses of that type of drug and does help. So that may be something worth looking into taking them as said on the packet and making sure you can buy reading the leaflet that comes with them.

Also taking decongestants like KimB said but make sure on these that you buy one WITHOUT paracetamol in it as some contain that. I think there may also be a product out called "First Defence" which if I remember rightly is a nasal spray and this can reduce the severity of early onset 'flu symptoms and also help you to fight it off.

Really, you need to drink plenty, keep yourself warm and rested, try to eat quite light things, specifically with plenty of Vit C in to try and help fight the infection. If you're still planning on going out tonight (which potentially isn't the best idea if you're still feeling ill) don't drink as that can cause further problems with dehydration.
