I get really bad PMT (PMS). So much so it affected my work, my family life, my social life, even my driving. I was such a nasty bitch for the week, then it went on to the two weeks before!
And not only that, I cut, and cut anc cut.....
And then during my period I had horrendous pain, really heavy bleeding, and all I wanted to do was curl up in my duvet or stay in a bath all week.
So basically I had one week per month when I was human.
So I went to my GP and he gave me some really strong pain killers for the cramps (that also lessen the bleeding) and some prozac for the PMT (it had been recently relicenced in the UK to allow it to be used for that). And now they don't affect me as much as they did. I may have a day or two of being snappy, but nowhere near the violence of before (which is good because I collect swords and axes - opps!), I haven't cut because of PMT for a long time, and the painkillers are great.
But yeah, I hate being a woman!
